Each year the Lucerne Valley Chamber of Commerce has an Honorary Mayor contest. The purpose of this contest is to have someone who can represent our town, like an ambassador. It also gives us the opportunity to raise money for the Chamber of Commerce, which enables the Chamber of Commerce to host the various activities for the town of Lucerne Valley throughout the year.
The Honorary Mayor contest allows each candidate to host different fund-raising events. The candidate that raises the most money will become Honorary Mayor for a year at the end of the race, in June. This is NOT a judicial position.
We would like to ask if you could help support our endeavors by making a donation. The Chamber of Commerce can provide you with a receipt for your donation, or you can simply reference their corporation number, which is 501(c)(6) C0320973 - they are a non-profit organization.
If you have any questions, you can call the Chamber of Commerce at (760) 223-7164.
